JACK & JILL’S DOWNHILL HALF MARATHON offers a beautiful and fast course as well. Not ready for 26.2? This half course starts out fast and finishes flat. Enjoy this fun and fast course that showcases Boise’s beauty.

BUS PICK UP

Parking and Bus pick up: 1125 W. River St., Boise, ID 83702

Buses pick up: MARATHON pick up between: 5:30am - 6am

HALF MARATHON pick up between 5:45am - 615am


DRIVING TO THE START OF EITHER THE HALF MARATHON OR FULL MARATHON IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. THERE ARE NO DROP OFFS OR PARKING PERMITTED AT EITHER THE HALF OR FULL MARATHON START. ALL RUNNERS MUST TAKE THE BUSES PROVIDED.

PACE team

"Beast Pacing" will provide pacers for the full marathon.  In addition,  we will provide pace bands to wear around your wrist.  Pacers and Pace bands will range in 2:50 - 4:30 marathon times.  Pace bands will be provided at the expo.

BAG DROP

Bag drop will be available before the race.  You can use the race bag provided or any personal bag provided your bag cinches closed and tight.  You must use the provided tear-off tag on your bib and attach it to your bag.  Please do not use gear check for valuables such as your cell phone, or jewelry, as we cannot be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

MEDICAL & TOILETS ON COURSE

Medical and EMT's will be positioned at miles 9 (marathon) and 21(marathon)/8(half marathon) and at the finish.  Additional medical will be patrolling along the course in case of medical emergencies. 

Portable Toilets along the course are positioned at or near most water station including the start for both the full and half marathon and the finish.

Participants

can connect their registration by matching name and birthdate if they would like to enable GPS tracking and race with their phone.

Spectators

can track any number of participants and view live progress on a map.

 * if the participant does not enable GPS tracking, they will initially move on the map based on their estimated finish time. Participants on the map will not move past the next timing station until we’ve recorded a real time for them at that point. Each time a participant crosses a timing mat, we will update their expected averages for future timing points.

  1. Bus transportation to the start from Boise

  2. Race bib, timing chip, and pace band

Age Category Awards:

There are no announcement for Age Category winners. You must pick up all awards after the race on race day ONLY. Award medals will not be mailed out after the event. All awards can be claimed at the Awards tent after results are posted on race day.
